Innova Card announced that its highly integrated solution based on the USIP platform successfully passed the EMV Level 1 Type Approval. This announcement comes after the extremely positive feedback from T-Systems laboratory about the USIP platform's compliancy to PCI PED requirements.
Indeed, the USIP platform has recently been awarded by T-Systems of an excellent report stating that USIP Professional meets the requirements of the PCI PED security standard, reaching in this way the highest level of security required by Mastercard and Visa for PIN-based payment transactions.
In the continuity to this security approach, Innova Card has therefore developed an ideal turn-key solution for customers concerned about easily designing and quickly receiving the EMV Level 1 Type Approval of their USIP-based terminals. This complete solution is made up of an EMV smart card module, software package, and support services - hardware support on the design of customer's device and support on software package integration. In addition, to easily achieve the EMV Level 1 approval, Innova Card offers the possibility to test (debugging session) customer's new terminal on in-house test equipments, and provides technical assistance throughout the EMV Level 1 certification stages in EMVCo accredited laboratories.
Therefore, beside the outstanding features of the USIP Professional platform, Innova Card offers a complete solution including software development tools, security, and professional services for PCI PED and EMV certifications.
“The trend of the payment industry is clearly to rely on partners for hardware and software technology together with embedded security. In this spirit, Innova Card provides the most secure, complete and integrated EMV/PCI-PED solutions to terminal vendors. Thanks to its USIP offer, Innova Card positions itself as a key technology partner to the payment industry worldwide,” said David Graziani, VP Sales & Marketing Director, Innova Card.
